Oritsedere Otubu _Chairman

Mr. Oritsedere Otubu is an accomplished entrepreneur with a diversified portfolio of investments in Banking, Insurance, Power, Property Development, Oil and Gas, and Fast Food. Mr Otubu is a highly accomplished and self-motivated entrepreneur with natural leadership ability and a 25-year history of successfully developing and building businesses.

Mr. Otubu plays a strong leadership role in the direction and governance of several companies where he holds significant interests, he is the Chairman of Seaforce Investments Limited, He is the Chairman of Elektron Energy Ltd owners of Alausa Power, Chairman of Venture Garden Group, a Director in Food Emporium owners of Barcelos, a Past Chairman of Staco Insurance Plc, a Past Director in  Access  Bank  Plc,  Mr. Otubu  is also  a Past member of the Economic Advisory Team of Delta State, he serves on the Board of Trustees of Western Delta University. He is also the Founder of Senforce Insurance Brokers and the current Chairman of Eko Electricity Distribution Plc.

Mr Otubu has accumulated vast business knowledge having attended at least six top management courses at Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, and INSEAD Business School respectively.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance & Economics (1983) and Master’s Degree in Accounting (1985) from Houston Baptist University Texas USA, An avid sportsman and enthusiast, he is a member of Ikoyi Club, Polo Club, Lagos Lawn Tennis club, Jetski Club, Capital Club and Past Chairman of Delta Football Association. He is a Devout Christian and a member of the Advisory Board of Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim.

Tunji Olowolafe_Director

Dr. Tunji Olowolafe is a prominent investor and leader in Public Private Partnerships (PPP) infrastructure projects, including serving as Chairman of Lekki Concession Company and Eko Rail. In addition to his experience in infrastructure, he is Chairman of GZ Industry Limited, the only can manufacturer serving the Nigerian market, and Deux Project Limited, which focuses on the health care space by providing general civil engineering, construction, and consultancy for hospitals. As a medical doctor, he holds an MBBS from the University of Ilorin, after which he worked in the healthcare industry across various parts of Southwestern Nigeria.

Charles Momoh _Director

Charles Momoh is the founder of West Power & Gas Limited (WPG) as well as the former Chairman of Eko Electricity Distribution Plc, a subsidiary for WPG. Formerly the Managing Director of Atlantic Meridean, an indigenous company, providing engineering, procurement, administration, security and support services to the Nigerian petroleum industry, Mr. Momoh is knowledgeable in international contracts and negotiations and is a seasoned oil & gas administrator. He is able to evaluate projects with complex economic models and has worldwide operational experience, having been involved with Ashland Oil in both Europe and the USA. With over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in both upstream and downstream sectors, Mr. Momoh, had the foresight to see the opportunity presented by Nigeria’s power sector and through his efforts, WPG has put together a world-class Board of Directors and Management Team that is ready to light up Nigeria.

Babor Egeregor_Director

Babor Egeregor is an administrator, business owner, and life coach who specialises in leadership coaching and values reorientation. He obtained his Higher School Certificate in 1987 at Delta, Ughelli, Government College, Bachelor of Arts, history at the University of Lagos in 1990, completed his NYSC at Lagos Citadel Computers in 1990, and was awarded a Postgraduate diploma-bible in leadership studies at RCCG International Bible Institute & Leadership Training School. Mr. Egeregor also has a certificate in Media and Marketing Planning (October 2015), Governance and Public Policy Planning (June 2016) from the Institute of Planning, Nigeria. He began his work experience as a Marketing Officer/Trainee Manager at Ceetadel Computers in 1990; he is currently Chief Executive Officer at B.T. Fahrenheit LTD., Managing Partner at Rezvok Energy, Registrar at Institute of Planning, Nigeria, and a Leadership Trainer. Mr. Egeregor understands excellence and its cascading effect in various environments, the servant leadership model as a virtue, the ability to inspire followership, understanding of the times, excellent communication and writing skills, and exemplary learning spirit. He loves jogging, swimming, teaching, mentoring, and singing.

Simon Ani_Director

Simon began his career in 1985 at Wenderstar Ltd., a non-bank finance and confirming house based in Bromley, South London, UK. There, he gained exposure to the full range of products used in international trade finance including letters of credit, bills for collections, negotiable marine financial instruments, and bills for collections. In 1988, he worked at Metro Lion (Nigeria) Ltd. as the project manager for the design, acquisition, building, and installation of a 25,000 metric ton grain silo complex in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. He established Metro Lion’s Port Harcourt office in 1994, offering specialized mechanical and electrical services to the oil and gas upstream exploration and production markets for onshore and offshore locations, including numerous flow station and gas treatment plant upgrades and instrument installations for Shell, Elf (Total), Mobil (Exxon), plant and equipment supply services to the former NAFCON Ammonia Urea Fertilizer plant at Onne, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation PPMC Division. He also established Power Projects & Equipment Limited (PPE) in the UK in 2001, a company that offered services to the power transmission and distribution industries on a global scale. He is the Managing Director of Cobra Venture Infrastructure Limited, Abuja, part of the Spanish EPC Contracting firm Grupo- Cobra. Mr. Ani attended Brighton Hove & Sussex Grammar School for Boys in Brighton, Sussex, UK, where he graduated with A Levels in Maths, English & History. After that, he participated in several training sessions offered by The London Chamber of Commerce (LCC) on topics like project management, international trade finance documentation, export guarantee insurance, letters of credit, and marine bills of lading. He was born in 1960 in Jos, Plateau State. Mr. Ani is a married father of two, finds balance in his life by reading about geopolitics, economics, and history.

Alex Okoh is the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). He was the Managing Partner of Ashford & McGuire Consulting Limited until he was appointed as the DG of BPE. He has 32 years of experience in the banking industry and management consulting. He was the Managing Director/CEO of NNB International Bank Plc from 2001 to 2006, where his visionary leadership took the bank from a comatose state to a position of enhanced value for stakeholders. He has also acquired international working exposure through programs with Citibank New York, Fidelity Bank London, Swiss Banking Corporation Zurich, Grindlays Bank Zimbabwe, and United Bank for Africa Plc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Benin and holds a master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Ibadan. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.

She commenced her career with Access Bank Plc, gaining extensive experience in branch operations, customer service, cash management, and retail credit management. In 2013, she was the Head, Finance, and Administration at Vanguard Energy Resources, a leading oil and gas trading services company. Dr. Tinuade Sanda previously served as the Chief Accounting Officer overseeing the Management Accounts (Financial Reporting), Invoicing/Payables, and Budgeting/Planning functions of EKEDC. She has also played the roles of Chief Treasury & Taxation Officer and Acting Chief Finance Officer. In March, she was appointed as the first female MD/CEO of Eko Disco. Dr Sanda holds a second-class upper degree in Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She obtained a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Strategic Planning from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. In 2020, she was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Management & Entrepreneurship from the ICON University of Management Science & Technology, Benin Republic. She has attended several professional courses in which some of them was the Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation Program, Harvard Business School. She is a Fellow of many prestigious professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Institute of Management Consultants; Institute of Professional Financial Managers, London. Joseph Esenwa_Chief Finance Officer

Joseph Esenwa is the Chief Finance Officer. He provides leadership and financial direction for the Company. He started his career in John Holt plc where he worked in Audit, Treasury and thereafter joined Zenith Bank Plc where he worked for 24 years and rose to the position of General Manager and Head of Audit/Internal Control. During his spell at the bank, he undertook numerous assignments spanning through most of the key areas in the process he has gained cognate experience in Treasury Management, Operations, Credit Administration, Financial Control and Strategic Planning, Audit and Internal Control, Marketing and Branch/Zonal Management. He also functioned as the chairperson in various standing committees. He left the banking industry with an indelible mark Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania) Pennsylvania, and Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Benin, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He attended various training programmes at Columbia Business School, New York, Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania) Pennsylvania, and Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Sheri Adegbenro_Chief Audit and Compliance Officer

Sheri Adegbenro (Bsc, Msc, CIA, CFE, CCSA, CRMA, CGT) is the Chief Audit and Compliance Officer, Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP) and saddled with the responsibilities of conducting strategic audits, governance, and reinforcing a culture of risk awareness across the company. Sheri bagged a Bsc Accounting from Brooklyn College (City University of New York – CUNY) and Masters in Management from the University of Maryland – University College (UMUC). She is a seasoned professional with over two (2) decades of experience in delivering strategic and optimized solutions in audit engagements, business process optimization and reengineering, rollout and implementation of entity-level and operational policies and procedures to support overall company’s objectives and Enterprise Risk & Fraud Management across various sectors. Her experience transcends multi-sector markets particularly the Energy industry (Power, Oil and Gas), Banking and Finance/Mortgage, Fleet Management, Health Care, Information Technology, Real Estate and Hospitality industries respectively. While in the USA, her professional career commenced with Hotel Employees Restaurant Employees (H.E.R.E.),International Union, New York . As her career progressed, she joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Washington Metro/Baltimore (USA) within the Risk Assurance/Internal Audit Group. She efficaciously assisted clients with executing enterprise risk assessment to identify high risk processes, business process optimization, and performed internal audits and compliance reviews across various markets. Subsequently, she joined the Energy sector due to her passion in understanding and adding value to the sector. Within the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI), she worked with Kano Electricity Distribution Plc (KEDCO) immediately after the privatization of the NESI, where she successfully championed the achievement of various initiatives: Finance Process reengineering, KEDCO portion of the first Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Nigerian Electricity Market Stabilization Fund/Facility (NEMSF) and various other transformation initiatives across the Company. Having joined Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) in 2015, Sheri is in charge of Strategic, Risk-Based Internal Audits and Investigations. She has implemented a culture of control ownership while working with key internal stakeholders to build structures across the various functional areas of the Company taking into account people, process and technology. Sheri is actively responsible for assessing and improving governance processes that impact risk management, robust control environment, statutory compliance, organizations ethical climate and ensures optimization of standard structure and business practices within the company. Jimoh Fadipe_Chief Treasury and Taxation Officer

Jimoh Fadipe is a seasoned chartered accountant with over 26 years work experience in both banking and audit. Before joining Eko Disco, he rose through the ranks at Zenith Bank to the position of Assistant General Manager where he attained experience in the areas of corporate finance, treasury management, banking operations, FX and trade negotiations, compliance and general administration. In his spell at Zenith bank, he was renowned as a standout performer in his operations and compliance roles at the bank. He is vast in organizational restructuring, training, talent development and various aspects of management. He has attended various professional and leadership courses both home and abroad including ‘High performance people skills’ at the London Business School. He holds a Higher National Diploma in accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, and bagged master’s degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Wola Joseph_Chief Legal Officer

Wola Joseph is the pioneer Chief, Legal and Company Secretariat Department. Prior to joining EKEDP, Wola worked closely with the Harvard Electricity Policy Group where she was involved in preparing several papers that influenced energy legislations in the United States. Wola worked with Lagoon Home Savings and Loans as its Chief Legal Officer/Company Secretary and also with Banwo & Ighodalo, a leading Corporate and Commercial law firm, as a Legal Associate. She holds a law degree from the University of Ibadan, and an LLM (specializing in International Finance) from the renowned Harvard Law School, Massachusetts, U.S.A. She is also enrolled as a Global Executive MBA candidate at Insead Business School. In addition to the numerous workplace and industry awards she has garnered over the course of her career, Wola was ranked 11th out of the top 50 General Counsel in Nigeria in the 2019 edition of the LKS Seminar Legal Magazine. Also in 2018, Legal Blitz ranked her one of the top 40 under 40 Lawyers greatly impacting the legal profession in Nigeria. She also led her team in back to back wins of the Energy and Power Team for the Years 2017 and 2018. In 2021, she received an award from the Association of Lawyers in Oil and Gas Nigeria for her years of distinguished service in the Power Industry. Kofowolora Olokun-Olawoyin_Chief Power Procurement and Regulatory Officer

Mrs. Kofowolora Olokun-Olawoyin is an ardent commercial negotiator with extensive knowledge and experience in Energy (Power, Oil & Gas), Regulatory Compliance, Corporate Governance, Banking and Finance, Public-Private Partnerships, Construction & Corporate Law, Telecommunications Law, Legislative Drafting, Company Secretarial Services and General Commercial Transactional Practices with a strong capacity to evaluate situations from a commercial standpoint.

She has an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Dundee, United Kingdom, another LLM in European Union Business and Taxation Law from the University de Cergy-Pontoise France, a BL from the Nigerian Law School, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Lagos.

Mrs. Olokun-Olawoyin is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (Formerly ICSA) United Kingdom, Fellow, Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria, and a Mentor at the Africa Women in Energy Development Initiative. She is also a recipient of many awards, notable of which are an Elite in the Power Sector in Africa by the ESI Africa and One of the 500 Most Influential Africans in the World under the Tropics Top 500 Power List.

Prior to her secondment to EKEDC, she worked with Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group) as Group Head Legal/Company Secretary, EKEDC as Head Legal Advisory & Contracts and HoD Legal Advisory & Contracts, Banwo & Ighodalo as Associate Member of the Corporate, Securities and Finance Team and Paul Usoro & Co. as Associate Member of the Solicitors Team.

Catherine Ezeafulukwe_Chief Customer Experience Officer

Mrs. Catherine Ezeafulukwe, Chief Customer Experience Officer is a dynamic, result oriented and innovative professional with over 25 years working experience with local & international organizations that cut across Financial, Aviation, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors. She has an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ibadan, LL.M (Masters in Law) from the University of Lagos and was called to Bar at the Nigerian Law School. She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), United Kingdom and Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). Prior to joining EKEDC, Mrs. Ezeafulukwe worked with – Subsea7 Nigeria /Nigerstar7 Limited, General Electric International Company (GE), Virgin Nigeria Airways Limited, Indemnity Finance Limited Lagos, Platinum Bank Limited and Arthur Andersen (Now KPMG).

Rekhiat Momoh_Chief Commercial Officer

Mrs. Rekhiat Momoh was born on March 7th, 1967 and hails from Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. She attended Auchi Polytechnic where she obtained OND Business Administration and HND Marketing in the year 1991. She served with the Nigerian Herald Ilorin, Kwara State in 1992. She also obtained an MBA (Marketing) from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. She was honoured with an award as a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) in the year 2019 and Fellow Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) 2020. Mrs Rekhiat Momoh is the Chief Commercial Officer at Eko Electricity Distribution Company Marina, Lagos. She is responsible for the coordination of all company’s commercial activities. Mrs Rekhiat Momoh is married to Mr Sufuyanu Momoh and blessed with two children, Emmanuel Oshoke Momoh and Lifted Oshobugie Momoh.

JP Attueyi_Chief Information Officer

JP Attueyi (Bsc, Msc, CISM, CCNSP) is the Chief information Officer, Eko Electricity Distribution Company. He oversees the strategy development and technology roadmap for the Enterprise Architecture, Business Applications and Solutions Development, Digital Transformation, Advanced Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Operations, information security, and innovation orchestration. JP has a Bsc Computer Science from Dillard University, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA where he graduated a Summa Cum Laude and was a Dillard University Scholar, Louisiana Alliance for Minority program (LAMP) Scholar, UNCF Scholar, and Sponsor for Equal Opportunity (SEO) Scholar. He also has a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He started working as a software programmer over 2 decades ago and has seen a career span that given him an opportunity to work in Non-profit, Sales, Customer Service, and Information Technology. Post college, he worked with the Wallace Foundation in New York USA as a tech support, before Joining Enterprise Holding in Houston Texas (USA) and worked his way up into management. He joined EKEDC post privatization in 2013 as an IT manager. Post privatization, the closest thing EKEDC had to an IT department was prepaid and post-paid billing. Over the years, he has helped build the IT department from scratch. Today, he runs the IT Operations, Network and Communications, IT Risk Management and Software Development. Having set the foundation in place, he is working tirelessly to digitally transform EKEDC. Following his enormous contributions in the transformation of the company, he has won several recognitions, prizes and awards including the CIPM Awards for improved HR process through implementation of HR information system, EKEDC Departmental creativity | Innovation in process | Systems improvement, EKEDC Cost optimization | Savings Award, EKEDC Milestone Achievement /Excellence in Project Delivery, EKEDC Life line award for the implementation of the Human Resource Information System, EKEDC MD/CEO Growth Award, MD/CEO Execution of projects within timelines, budget and quality parameters. JP balances his life by watching Football, Basketball, American Football and follows Man United, Lakers and Saints respectively. He loves to read books, travel, work out and occasionally, binges American TV series.

Aikenzua Alenkhe_Chief Human Resources Officer

Mr Aikenzua Alenkhe, Chief Human Resources Officer of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDP), holds a first degree in Public Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and graduated in 1988 with the Bruce Greutbatch Award of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for the Best Graduating Student in the department. He also obtained an M.Sc. degree in Personnel Management and Industrial relations (1996) from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) With core competencies in Human Resources Management best practices, Facilities Management, Business development and strategy, he brings to the fore a rich experience from the Financial services, energy sectors and management consulting including in Fidelity Bank Plc where he served in different capacities as Head Personnel Admin, Head, Corporate Services, Head, Learning and Development, Branch Manager and Area Manager between 1998 to 2014. Prior to joining EKEDP, he worked with Energia Limited, an oil E & P company and marginal field operator where he was Human Resources and Organizational Development Manager.
